EVENTS
As a graduate from Centre for Arts and Technology in the Event Management & Promotions Program, I worked on several events that helped me excel in my skills for the Okanagan community.

Bark in the Park, Splendor in the Glass, The Great Okanagan Beer Festival, Nitro Circus, Vision Festival 2.0, XOXO Valentines Social, CATO-HO-HO, Candy Gram Fundraiser, Okanagan Comedy Festival, Graduation Ceremony, and the Kidney Walk Kelowna were some events that were so much fun to organize, assist and to be a part of.
Working on projects in the community that included the Boys & Girls Club homeless teens, The Food Bank Co, and individual families really kick-started my passion for event planning!
Please see below for some of my college event highlights!

Vision Festival 2.0
Role: Marketing, Media & Sponsorship
Vision Festival 2.0 was a multimedia showcase open to students, alumni, industry guests, friends and family on March 16, 2018, at the Innovation Centre in Kelowna. Vision Festival 2.0 featured the creative work produced by the students of Centre for Arts and Technology and included audio and visual displays, portfolio lounges, live art, musical performances, bar & appetizers, presentations, photo and video documentation along with media coverage. If you were listening on Sun FM radio, you could hear Ari Daniels and myself conducting an interview on air. An after-party at Level Night Club featured the audio students' creative work and had people dancing into the night.

CATO-HO-HO
Role: Project Manager & Marketing
CATO-HO-HO was a holiday event held on December 6, 2017, from 11:30 am -12:30 pm. It turned out to be the biggest attendee turnout at Centre for Arts and Technologies in history with over 85 people enjoying the festive fun. Activities that complimented the lunch buffet and hot chocolate bar were a candy cane game, Rudolf game, ugly sweater contest, prizes, live music by audio student Landon Rye-Shannon, a photo booth with a tacky picture frame, and a Santa suit sponsored by the Tickle Trunk. This event was fun and the energy for the event was fantastic!
